Getting Driving Knowledge Ready

driving organized

Happy Monday! Alright so you may be looking at this post and saying `Shanice I already know how to drive. I got my license already`... I figure most of my readers may have gotten their license already however some of you may have teenagers or pre-teens who are considering getting their license. Have I tickled your interest yet? I want to show you what I am currently doing to get myself driving ready for the driving knowledge test or G1 test (Ontario calls it that) or learners (Alberta calls it that). No matter what your city calls it, I want to show you my way of studying.

Okay so I haven't gotten my license yet, yes it is shocking, I have heard it all. "You STILL haven't gotten your license", "You should get your license", "You don't drive?", "When are you getting your license?", "How come you haven't gotten your license?", "You have a child you should have your license"... ect... It has gotten annoying to hear it. Honestly the real reason why I hasn't gotten mine is that is cost money, I can't just walk in and take the test it cost some serious money. Yes $145 is not a lot for some, but at the times that I could have gotten my license I just did not have the money, the time to study or a job. Throughout all my life I didn't need a car, I was always close to everything I need, mall, school and anything outside of my little walking bubble I just jumped on public transportation.

What has changed? Well I have a son and well public transportation is not always kind to time and well strollers. Let's face it, my stroller can't fit all the baby groceries that I now need. So I am thinking it is about time I jump on the road and learn to drive. Here are two ways to get yourself or your teens driving ready. The first one is perfect for when you are on the go.

Print out driving signs and rules
If you don't want to do all, you can print out the ones you are having trouble with.

Get a pocket size quick note with a ring.
I bought mine from Dollarama for $2.00

Cut out each traffic sign and rules

Double sided tape is perfect for placing them on the quick note pad.

Simply stick them on.

Now you get to study on the go.

If you have some time on our hands, you can check out :

They are a great site where you can take free practice tests that resembles the actual tests and they even have a app at iTunes for $2.00 if you want to place it on your phone or iPad. So that is some driving tricks you can do for yourself or pass it on to someone you know who is interested in driving. It doesn't matter where in Canada you live in because it all Provinces. They even tell you where driving schools are in your city.

I hope you have some time, I would love to hear from you. Leave a comment to say how much you enjoyed my post or even say hi, follow me on Twitter, like my Facebook page or  even subscribe. I will do the same! Have a wonderful creative day!
