Remember how I told you that I had a Princess Party to get to on Friday with my sisters and my son and little brother were going to a all boy construction party? Well it turned out that my son and I could not go because my son is teething (moms you know what that means) so there has been a lot of following me around my place crying and more crying, wanting me to pick him up or doesn't want to eat something for a few days now. I felt like I had to hide to get these post done.
Last minute I had to go to come up with two princess outfits and one construction outfit with only having a few fake flowers, caution tape, sunglasses and a bucket with a shovel. Believe me I was shocked that I could not find anything princess or construction at the Dollarama by my house but in the short time I had which was a few minute I had to use what I had. (I like favourite certain Dollaramas over others. What can I say some have better items than others)
Here is one princesses party outfit ideas:
Buy fake flowers. (costs $1.25 at Dollarama)
Cut or break off in the middle.
Twist the stems around each other
Pick a dress from your child's closet or buy one and then twist the flowers onto the strap
Do the same on the for the other side.
Here is an second option:
Take more flowers and continue to twist each onto each other
When done, bend so that is makes a 'U' shape and twist the top ends onto the the straps.
Two cute last minute princess outfit ideas that didn't take too much of my time. Add one princess tiara that you may have or make one and your girls are ready for their pumpkin carriage ride to the ball or party. Make sure you come back next week to see how my last minute construction outfit turned out for my little brother. I hope you have some time, I would love to hear from you. I'm all about pink and last minute for my 4 year old daughter. She loves that color and anything dress up. This is a really creative idea I would have never thought of. Thanks so much for sharing.
