The cords by the kids computer was driving me crazy and my son has been getting into them and pulling them out. I been meaning to buy something to organizing it so that it doesn't look like a complete disaster. With one arm injured and creative juices giving me strength I came up with a easy, very cheap, upcycled cord organizing holder. Here is how I made it.
Take the cardboard roll the size of gift paper, make sure it is thick cardboard.
Get self adhesive design paper or design duck tape.
Cut the cardboard roll straight through.
It will look like this.
Next, peel the self adhesive paper or duck tape
And wrap it around the roll and cut extra paper.
Use the scissors to follow the cut you made earlier.
For the slit, cut a small piece of the design paper or duck tape
Slide it through and smooth it down
Use duck tape if you find that the self adhesive is not staying down. I used both.
(I wanted gold duck tape but couldn't find any so settled for leopard)
Go through the your cords
Slide the cords in the opening you made.
Your cords now have a new home.
I hope you have some time, I would love to hear from
you. Leave a comment to say how much you enjoyed my post or even say hi, follow

Om. This looks fabulous. If there is one thing that drives me 'nuts' too, than it's ugly computer / electrical cables... all over the house, really. This is an encouragement for me to put an end to it also. Love the leopard print, btw. A bit of craziness that;s fun! We have a linky party again today, btw., do come link it up!
