Hello, 2016! Saying that is still going to take some getting used to, however, I don't know if you have noticed but this new year comes with new changes....again. Last year I did the same thing with launching my new website makeover. My blog was not looking like what I imagined so I kicked off 2015 with a brand new look. The template was spot on and I loved everything about it but things were not fitting the way that it was supposed to and soon I realized that the design that I loved so much was just not working out for me.
Which brings me to this year, I couldn't go another year yet along another month with my old template design. I wanted to make sure that everything would work and fit perfectly this year. I wanted to keep my theme of having the template unique but also having it simple and clean from clutter. After a great search, I finally found this very cool template that fit everything that I was looking for and I even dish out a little bit of money for it.
Welcome to my new homepage. After being greeted with a slide show filled with this week's posts, you get to scroll along with my new logo design as you make you way down.
Now you have a great access feature where you can see the latest posts in Diy, Home & Design or Style right at the start with easy to use tabs.
Next, I have featured posts which are the most popular posts on the blog right before I share links to other sites on which you can check out my projects, like Bloglovin and Hometalk.
Lastly is my Instagram pictures, now you can see what I am sharing right from my blog. I love that feature so much, not only that it looks great but also because some of my readers don't follow me on Instagram. I hope this will give me the desire to add me. I was so glad to also see nice subscribe box at the footer.
Now that the template design is finished, that means that it is time for you to explore (if you haven't done so already). It's such a great way to say hello to 2016!
