The first brownies I can remember loving to extreme is the one that I had at Moxie's for dessert. Okay, I have it every time I have dessert. There is something about that brownie that blows my mind and pairs it with some ice cream and I am sold. So every since then I have been dying to whip up a brownie recipe of my own. We all know I am a cupcakes only girl but want to try and I am so glad that I did because it turned out great!
Let's start with the chocolate!
Melt 1/2 Butter ( I used Earth Balance) into a pan.
Add 8 ounces of white chocolate to the pan and stir until melted. Leave to the side to cool.
While the chocolate cools. Mix 2 Eggs into the bowl.
Next, add 1/3 cup of sugar &1 tablespoon vanilla extract,
Combine it with 1 1⁄4 cups flour and 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
Mix all together.
Once you pour the batter into a pan, add 1 cup of chocolate chips. I added the same chocolate that I used in the batter. You can change it up if you like. Then place it into the oven for 30 minutes.
Now it is all ready!
This is no Moxie's brownie but it sure comes pretty close. I enjoyed this new experience and would be willing to try a gluten free recipe soon enough. For now, I am enjoying this delicious treat!
