I am new to this whole couponing (if that is a word) experience but I love a good deal so why let a good coupon to waste. Everyone seems to be doing this and who wouldn't really want to save money right? First I had to find coupons which was easy with the help of Google and now I have a great list of online sites that you can print coupons from or have them mail them to you at my post - Best Coupon/Savings Site and another list of great sites for deals too - Making Money Shopping and Scoring Deals as well as the new Energy Saving Coupons I got in the mail and can get more online.
Now that I have coupons being sent to me at my door, I figured it was about time for me to stop making a pile of coupons on my desk and start getting coupon organized. What can I say I love organizing :) I am going to show you my coupon
Let me show you my coupon folder:
Got a folder this one is from Walmart for around $2.00
No need for binder rings I have this to keep my pages together.
I bought these dividers from Staples for $2.92 to keep my coupons in their own sections.
I bought these baseball card holder from Dollarama for $2.00 for the coupons itself.
I also bought a Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery Index Dividers from Staples for $2.99.
It is perfect for any big coupons that I may have.
And I also found Note Tabs by Avery at Dollarama for $2.00 for the Martha Stewart Index Dividers
With all that I bought this is what it looks like!
Tabs with stylish design dividers
First Section is for any baby products from diapers to wipes and more.
The second section is for food, snacks and meals, pretty much groceries.
Same tab added and section for larger coupons.
Third is my Health Section which includes vitamins, skincare and overall body care.
Fourth Section is for Home and Cleaning, everything from laundry to floors to dishes.
This fifth one is where I am planning to put all my other coupons for stuff like restaurants, batteries or shoes.
I love how this turned out. What did you think? Has this inspired you? I hope you have some time, I would love to hear from
you. Leave a comment to say how much you enjoyed my post or even say hi, follow
me on Twitter, like my Facebook page or even subscribe. I will do
the same! Have a wonderful creative day!
Great organising and I love the binder! Couponing isn't as big here in the UK as it is with yourselves, which is ashame, but I also have a system for holding all my saving stamps and vouchers. I will hopefully share about that soon :o)
ReplyDeleteThank you. That is ashame that couponing is not big in the UK but I am happy you have a system for your stamps and vouchers. I can't wait to see your organising system. Thanks for stopping by and commenting :)

Thanks but I tried a couple of times and it didn't work for me. Let me know when it does.
ReplyDeleteNice job! I also have a tab in mine for store coupon policies. That way, if I am unsure, it is right with me in print.

DeleteI "extreme" couponed for several years...ended up donating tons of it to the schools twice a year. So even if you don't use the product SOMEONE will! And yes, the baseball card inserts are the best. I had so many coupons, I ended up with two binders...one for groceries and one for everything else. Carried them with me at all times...I still "coupon" but not to "extreme. But when I find a great coupon deal on any personal care or paper product, cleaning supply, laundry, etc...I stock up bigtime! And on average I save 20% just on my grocery bill just by pulling and printing coupons for products I use all the time.
ReplyDeleteWow that is some fantastic savings. I hope to get some great savings that problems is remembering that I have coupons lol. I'm going to have to bring my coupon binder with me now. Thank you for sharing your story and stopping by Beck :)
DeleteThis is a great idea, and I'm loving the color of your folders!! This makes me want to start clipping coupons so I can use one of these!! Thank your for sharing it with us! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Marti, Its never too late to start saving money. Thank you for stopping by and commenting!
DeleteI tried couponing and doing a folder like that too, but I kept forgetting what coupons I had too. Plus, CA doesn't really let you double up on coupons, so no extreme couponing here. Thanks for sharing your organizing on Merry Monday.
ReplyDeleteYeah I hear you. Wish I had double up coupons as well. But any savings are good savings right. :)
DeleteGreat idea for coupon organisation - Thanks for linking up to Pin Worthy Wednesday, I have pinned your post to the Pin Worthy Wednesday Pinterest Board.
