Spring Cleaning - Under The Sink

spring cleaning under the kitchen sink

Underneath the sink in my apartment was drying me crazy. Every time I went in there something would fall and it felt like I should put on some steel toe boots and a safety equipment to protect myself from complete organization disaster. I finally took the leap this spring cleaning and did the best I could with organizing so far. It is still not completely what I imagined yet but with storage baskets and bins anything will look way better than before.

Here is what is looking like right now.

The slim storage baskets are perfect for those spray bottles and bottles, it makes a huge difference to the space and make it looks fantastic. Turning the second slim storage basket worked out nicely for the onions and more, now we won't have them trying to escape or fall out.  In the back I have the large reusable store box for all the other reusable storage bags, easy to grab and go when we remember.  It looks way more neat and way more tidy.

I got rid of the huge bottles of laundry products and downsized them into those plastic bottles. (Another way to reuse bottles.) I places the bottles in the light blue basket in case they were to spill it is easier to clean then fabric ones.

I placed the garbage in the front since that is the one thing we go to every day and it is better in the front then searching for them in the back. The laundry sheets pile up behind it. Any sponges are in a broom caddy on the side so that the sponges are up in plain sight instead of down and unseen. This is so much better than before believe me.

I hope you have some time, I would love to hear from you. Leave a comment to say how much you enjoyed my post or even say hi, follow me on Twitter, like my Facebook page or  even subscribe. I will do the same! Have a wonderful creative day!

  1. Under sinks are the worst, aren't they? You've done a great job getting yours under control! Years ago I found these plastic shelves by Rubbermaid that I use in my bathroom. A shoe box fits perfectly between the 'legs' of the shelf.....doubles the storage! Dona
